Maybe, depending on the method of drying? Sun-dried grapes (raisins) are raw foods.

I'd say so. I certainly love dried fruit too much to want to class it as non-raw Razz

Hi Friends,
I loved the dried pineapple that I've tried. I think they have been sugared to some degree. I'd give them another try from somewhere else. I pretty much love any dried fruit though..

Hi Allan101, dried pineapple is pretty tasty! What do you mean about trying them from somewhere else?

Most people seem to consider them raw unless they have sugar or preservatives added. Personally I could eat them all day, with or without sugar!

As long as they're not heated beyong 115 degrees F I believe it's still raw. We dehydrated some apples like that. Delicious!

Yes I think so

I loved the dried pineapple that I've tried. I think they have been sugared to some degree. I'd give them another try from somewhere else and also I like dates..

Once a fruit or vegetable is picked, it starts to die, hence is looses its nurtitional values. I loved the dried pineapple that I've tried. I think they've been sugared to some degree...I'd give them another try from somewhere else. I pretty much love any dried fruit though...and I hate fruit in general.
