Doesn't raising awareness and offering possibilities result in change (at least in some)?

I sure hope so! Horsefriend was talking about someone he'd been trying to change for years. I'm sure you can appreciate the difference between helping someone change when they are willing to do so, and trying to get them to change when they are resisting.

He just "agrees" with everything and never really takes anything to heart. He just wants everyone to like him. I don't think he actually has a personality of his own.
