Hey all,
I'm moving to California's central valley next month and I'd like to meet some vegans/AR activists asap. Can anyone suggest some websites or online forums for finding vegan people/orgs in a new city?

Why are all the vegans I know leaving Chicago?? 
One easy way would be Meetup. Were you ever involved with Vegan Chicago (or Chicago Vegan, whichever it was)? That was a huge Meetup. There are similar ones in other cities (and they can be for anything you can think of, like anarchist knitters or muggly-owners or what-have-you)
You could also try World Animal Net Directory. Stay away from the entries that say "Animal Care and Control."

Is he usually pretty regular here? I think many of us are more active some times and less active at other times. He should keep a cell phone with him. One time my back cramped up so bad I couldn't stand up. I was lucky I wasn't alone in the house. I had to call for help. That was so embarrassing.
