Any ideas? Hopefully not something that leaves sticky white flakes, which I've read some alternatives do.

I had just bought this, and was enjoying it, until I realized that Keratin was an animal product...

hi,

i get mine from Lush and it's vegan. there's 3 different strengths, i use the strongest called 'the big tease', hope this helps,

You can make your own by boiling flax seed and using the resulting gel.

Now, there's an idea! But I also have heard you can boil flax as a throat comforting tea.

JASON is vegan, and they have a men's hair gel, I think.
