  Animal Planet defends its violent rodeo program
Let's tell Animal Planet we don't want to see rodeo shows!
We have been contacting Animal Planet for some time now about the show, which glorifies rodeo violence, but defend the show as a "Canadian cultural institution." I'm Canadian, and cruelty is definitely NOT my culture. It is obvious that glorifying rodeo cruelty on TV teaches our children that animals are our to use and abuse as we want. Please help us get this crap off the air.

Please sign and share far and wide on your Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, etc. We have accumulated 531 signatures, and are aiming for 2500 signatures. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/tell
You don't have to in Canada to sign, you just have to agree that Animal Planet, along with all of its other compassionate shows that rescue animals from cruelty, should remove Hell on Hooves from its programming.

 I don't really watch Animal Planet, but I'm shocked that they'd show such a program. Hideous.

  UPDATE: Animal Planet has announced today on their web site
One year of lobbying finally accomlished its goal.
THANKS to all of you who supported my petition. I will leave it up for a couple of days so people can see the update and I wills till send all of our signatures to Animal Planet to let them know we don't want to see ANY glorified animal cruelty on their network.
