Hehe... I'll DEFINITELY try some of these things. Cashew cheese sounds brilliant (cashews taste sort of cheesy anyway, but in a good way).

Oh, I just learned that Daiya is not nut-based. It has cassava and/or arrowroot. But Ste. Martaen is cashew-based, and raw restaurants usually make cashew-based cheeses. They are divine.

Most nut cheeses I've had at raw restaurants (a grand total of two! haha) are usually great. There's a raw joint just outside Toronto, Ontario in a city called Mississauga that has a great parsnip ravioli filled with a fresh tomato-basil marinara sauce and topped with a nice macadamia nut cheese!
But yeah, the smell of bacon grosses me out. So does the smell of searing beef. Last time I was in a house and someone was searing cattle flesh, it made me nauseous. However, sometimes the smell of cheese is agreeable... and I always feel guilty for feeling that way!!!

Thanks! Yeah, of all the recipes I've posted so far, I've definitely gotten the most positive feedback on that one!

I love meat and I love the smell of meat and I miss it.
I wish someone would hurry up and develop cheap artificial meat and milk.

Got to say - don't really miss meat at all. Okay, the occasional piece of sashimi "looks" good...but that's about it.! (Used to love steak tartar in the very old days. But...well....definitely off the table forever.) And no, I don't dream about it...!

But of course! Among all of the breakfast meals, bacon is my favorite. It is just so sad that even my teeth craves for it, the price of bacon if you'll make it an everyday meal is no other than but expensive.

Why don't you go and get the psychiatric help that you so obviously need.

That was so obviously an attempt to anger everyone. People like that crack me up. It takes a bit of effort to find a site, sign up, get confirmed and then actually post. Then when that person does it all just to try and make someone mad...it makes me giggle. Thanks for wasting your own time nadlemgarcia. Thanks for caring about us enough to go through all that process just to waste your own time. Simply brilliant!
