Vegan Food Pyramid II

Another vegan Food Pyramid. A great help to eat healthy when you follow a vegetarian diet.

The Vegan Food Pyramid shows a suggested daily intake of food. As you may notice, this pyramid is slightly, at the least, and drastically, at most, different then many other pyramids out there. One difference is the lack of animal based foods. Our bodies do not NEED this to thrive and healthfully survive. The Vegan Food Pyramid shows you how to get a healthy intake of food if you follow a strict vegetarian (vegan) diet.

  • Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
  • Eat at least 3 servings of veggies and fruit a day.
  • Eat at least 6 servings of whole grains, bread, rice and pasta, cereals a day.
  • Eat 2 or 3 servings of fortified (plant based) milk.
  • Eat 2 to 3 servings of legumes, seeds and beans a day.
  • Some vegetable oil, salt, spices, nuts and sweets.
