Adam Kochanowitz's interviews Prof. Gary L. Francione at Rutgers University. Gary Francione Interview by Vegan FM

Adam Kochanowitz's interviews Prof. Gary L. Francione at Rutgers University.

The first part is about moral schizofrenia (some blogposts about moral schizofrenia and Michael Vick made by Gary Francione [1][2][3]) and that everyone who take animals serious should go vegan.

In part two Adam Kochanowitz brings up minimalizing suffering. What brings the talk to welfarism and the differences between Gary Francione, Peter Singer and Tom Regan's view. Francione concludes that veganism the best way is to reduce or eliminate suffering. Kochanowitz also asks what an activists should do. Francione responds that they shouldn't waste their time with welfare reform. If you make radical demands as the abolition of all animal explotation and veganism you will get the welfare reform automatically anyway.

In Part 3 Francione explains that most animal welfare reform happens anyway because much of it is even economically advantages or neutral for the producers and it encourages people to consume animal products. He also explains why fur-free Friday and meat-free Monday are not good campaigns.

Part 4 is about going vegan instead of vegetarian, the scam of cage-free eggs, the link between animal welfare and then animal industry. And more about single issue campaigns.

Part 5, 6, 7
